Many owners of electric vehicles like the Chevy Bolt EV rarely need to drive to a gas station, and while that sounds like a boon to many eco-friendly drivers, some look forward to the days when they have an excuse to pull over for a while. Mart and soda with sugar, take a bag

Pamela Talley, a Denver resident and owner of a first-generation Chevy Bolt EV, faced such a problem. After many years of owning an electric car because he charges his car at home and doesn't drive to the gas station, Talley said, "He found he was missing his favorite gas station purchase." .
To solve this problem, Chevy partnered with renowned designer and builder Wendell Holland to transform Tally's Garage into a one-stop shop filled with favorites like freezers, hot dog warmers, beef jerky, chips, candy, beverage coolers and more. The garage has Hampton Bays cabinets to support and organize these items.
"I've seen firsthand how homeowners can upgrade their spaces to accommodate the EV lifestyle, so partnering with Chevy to transform the garage was perfect," Holland said of the project. "To create the ultimate garage for Pamela, we incorporated inspiration from our favorite gas station restaurants and transformed the space into a modern oasis for electric living."
Buyers of a 2022 or 2023 Chevy Bolt EV or Bolt EUV can install a Level 2 charger in their home for free as part of a partnership between GM and charging infrastructure company Qmerit. A charger installed in the garage or on the side of the house allows most Chevy Bolt EV or Bolt EUV owners to spend most of their time charging at home, avoiding gas stations and convenience stores around the world.
"The best feature of living with an electric vehicle is being able to charge or 'refuel' at home," said Steve Mayoras, vice president of Chevrolet Marketing. »
"As we bring more electric vehicles to market, we want to give Chevy customers a seamless option to enjoy charging at home," said Majoras. "This garage upgrade is an example of the creative ways electric vehicle drivers can make up for what they're missing by skipping the gas station."
