Manheim, Pennsylvania. Martin's Woodworking Machinery will display four NorthTech machines in the Classic Machinery Pavilion at the Wood Pro Expo in Lancaster from Oct. 13-14 at Spooky Nook Sports.
As previously reported, one of the NorthTech machines that Martin will unveil is the iDovetailer, which won the IWF 2022 Challengers Award. The eight-mode iDovetail interactive platform allows users to perform a variety of carpentry on boxes, face frames or enclosures on the go with an easy-to-use touch screen. The Northtech NT-DBC102540 Universal Drawer Clamp has a fixed left clamp and a manually adjustable right clamp. Block measures 10" x 25" x 40" for making dovetail boxes or dowels. Drawer clip allows quick opening without tools or adjustments.
The Northtech NT UCS18L vertical saw houses the blade inside the machine body and uses a double-acting cylinder to securely hold and cut the workpiece. With an 18" diameter blade, the UCS18 has a cutting capacity of 2" x 12" in a small footprint, making it ideal for small to medium-sized parts. The machine is equipped with an advanced dust collection system as well as a fence. and a full-length base. to prevent the blade from sliding. Other standard features include forward speed control, emergency stop, safety switch, safety guard, foot control and blade adjustment and top clamp. Ideal for wood and plastic work. Tables and cabinets to limit operator access. Door latch.
The Northtech NT-SLR18SC straight cut is equipped with safety lock, anti-kickback fingers and quick brake, making it one of the safest single saw blades. 20hp pierces workpiece over 5" thick with 18" blade. Standard 8/4 gum line guarantees 12 feet at 60 feet per minute. Northtech Straight Line miter saws received the Visionary Award at AWFS 2018 for their touch-activated guard.
