We love that this DeWalt circular saw is so powerful and durable that it can really cut through a wide variety of materials. We also liked the tool-free blade change, although the mechanism jammed once (probably user error). We really liked the adjustable depth of cut because there is less chance of insulation or wires getting caught behind the drywall. Our only complaint is that it doesn't come with bits and this tool is really limited to cutting; sanding, sanding and pickling is not really an option.

We are big fans of affordable WEN brand tools, but when we tested their 2305 rotary tool set, it failed miserably. The tool itself was not bad, although a bit flimsy compared to the Dremels and the Milwaukee variety. It comes with a lot of accessories, but the real problem is that it was downright dangerous.
The 2305 kit doesn't have a trimmed shroud, and the wheels that come with the WEN kit are very flimsy and poor quality. During the cut, two tires broke, parts flew from everywhere. Luckily we were wearing glasses. Therefore, we do not recommend kit 2305.
