The holidays are upon us and once the plates are off the table and the leftovers are in the fridge, thousands of shoppers in metro Des Moines will be buying local produce from small businesses on Saturday. Here are six lists of perfect gifts to add to your list for anyone in your life.
Viz Vintage, a great vintage store in downtown Des Moines, stocks its shelves with men's and women's clothing in various sizes from the 1960s to the 2000s, as well as accessories such as jewelry, bags and belts. Customers will enter the store to enter to win a gift card, and the Des Moines bakery has a pop-up shop with holiday gifts and pre-orders.

The Bondurant-based bungalow, with its Instagram-worthy white exterior and beautiful wood finishes, offers weekend shoppers the local produce. The shop offers perfect stocking stuffers and gifts under the tree like pillows, home decor and other handmade gifts. Proceeds from all purchases made in the store go to causes throughout Iowa.

A general store located in the new Highland Park/Oak Park neighborhood of Des Moines, offering everyday merchandise to customers in the metro area. The store offers Hiland Bakery cookies and hot drinks to customers and sells gift boxes filled with items from a variety of local producers. Pop-up shop Locust Grove Farm Co. with a small selection of natural products. It's also part of Small Business Saturday.
