The family-run store specializing in DIY projects, tools and parts is heading to Short Pump this month.
Minnesota-based Roller Woodworking & Hardware has opened its first Richmond store at 11639 W. Broad St. At the end of March, the 7,762-square-foot retail showroom features thousands of products, and its state-of-the-art classrooms are used for hands-on courses for woodworking and DIY enthusiasts of all skill levels.
"Richmond is a great city with a strong carpentry community, and we love having a new resource to help woodworkers and home improvement enthusiasts with their projects," said Joe Kester, Rockler's vice president of retail sales. It prides itself on providing a fun shopping experience. with shop professionals helping teach fun courses to advertise.

Rockler Shops sells woodworking tools. The brand has developed more than 1,000 unique products for the craftsman and regularly introduces new tools, gadgets, equipment and workshop supplies.
In the store, shoppers will find power tool brands such as Festool, SawStop, Laguna, Skil, Powermatic and JET.
A short location of the ship's pump reveals another location for timber sales. The store has boards, panels, veneers, veneers and counter cuts for woodworking and DIY projects. Shops can cut boards for free.
In-store classes are taught year-round by a professional woodworking team, and participants help build items like pens, bowls and cheese boards.
Celebrating its 68th anniversary this year, Roller has more than 40 retail locations in 25 states and an extensive online shopping catalog. The Short Pump location will be Rockler's second location in Virginia after opening a location in Fairfax last year.
