Funding from Habitat for Humanity supports the program, which will train 210 low-income participants in Indonesia's Tangerang region, including painters, applicators and construction workers. Mowilex provides supplies, paint and volunteer hours, and the Career Learning Center offers classroom training. The National Carpentry Council will oversee the on-the-job training process and award certificates to students who successfully complete the 10-day course.
The investment will bring necessary professionals to the sector. According to the Ministry of Public Works and Construction (PUPR), more than 1 million of Indonesia's 8.3 million construction professionals are certified. Certification makes employees more competitive in the global market. It also opens up employment opportunities that help low-income workers achieve financial independence.

The first nine days of training focus on theory and practice. On day 10, participants pass the corresponding certification exam.
