The aptly named Big Red will turn heads wherever he goes. It's not just the size that catches the eye, but also the bright red exterior. One might think that a 32-foot small house hides a luxurious bedroom and a large living room, but this is a unique, custom-made project with a more unique interior style.
According to the client, this beautiful wood came from a stand of trees in the Cowichan Valley, giving the project a unique local feel. This is not an industrial style home where everything is standard. Big Red has character and character as well as a special relationship with the natural environment in which the furniture is located.
Although it is over 9.7 meters long, this mobile home does not have the typical floor plan of a single-family home. Not even a bedroom, not even a living room. Because it was a special project aimed at working with the structure in the final location. The accommodation already built on site includes a living room and several bedrooms. The large red paint was opened into two large parts and connected to the remaining wall.

High quality wood is used, which immediately enhances the overall style of this kitchen. Best of all, live wood accents like the upper window frames, bookcases, and dining table add a stunning touch. In terms of color, the red walls match the striking exterior and highlight the white ceiling, dark wood and patterned plaster.
It goes without saying that there is plenty of space for cooking, storage, family meals and entertaining guests. The L-shaped kitchen features beautiful countertops and full, high-end appliances including a propane stove, dishwasher, stainless steel refrigerator, and microwave/top combo.
Glossy kitchen cabinets offer plenty of storage space, but many shelves and cupboards are still mounted on the walls and also serve as decorative elements - especially in the corner, the overly straight wooden shelves, which look more like a work of art than simple ones. Storage solutions.

A large skylight is another great addition that adds brightness to the center of the kitchen. The same number of skylights were installed in the bathroom. To say this bathroom feels like a spa would be an understatement. This is probably one of the most beautiful small bathrooms ever designed and decorated with luxurious accessories. We don't often see live edges in small bathrooms, but a beautiful red color usually makes for a stunning look.
The beautiful woodwork is complemented by the use of natural tiles for the floor. White walls are reminiscent of old beach houses and similarly designed window frames in the kitchen provide visual depth.

A closed wall glass shower stall is another luxurious feature, but one that is unusually associated with an eco-friendly composting toilet. The whole house is a mix of luxury and bohemian elements. For added convenience, units include an on-demand propane water heater and bathroom floor heating. There was also enough space for a full-sized washing machine and dryer.
Although unique, Big Red can still easily inspire small home design with a traditional approach. Its sophisticated and vibrant style shows that sometimes personalizing a home with quality furniture made from local wood can be the ultimate luxury.
